I just graduated from recruit training, and plan on wearing the service c to church tomorrow. Do I need to wear my rifle badge or service ribbon? I don't think it looks as good on the shirt as it does on the alpha blouse, especially only one ribbon.
Answer:
No you do not have to wear it if you want, Uniform regulations state, "(when) service "B"/"C" uniforms are worn the wearing of ribbons on khaki shirts is at the individual's option unless the commander prescribes that ribbons be worn." Same for the shooting badge "Unless otherwise prescribed by the commander, wearing marksmanship badges is at the option of the individual."
