Do ems stations hire EMT-B's with no experience?
I recently became a certified emt-b. This summer I have a summer daycamp job lined up, but would much rather work as an emt. I will be getting experience in the fall with a ride-on class I'm taking, but I have none now. Would any stations hire me?
Answer:
EMT-B is an entry level job so no experience is expected usually. Contact your local ambulance companies. However, you probably should not try for a position as an EMT at a daycamp unless you do have considerable experience and still be closely supervised by someone with a higher license.
